Ceramics artist Melina Xenaki

CREATOR OF UNIQUE WORKS OF ART

To begin with, Melina is a highly talented ceramist. She is also a dynamic, happy young woman, passionate about her work.

The first time I met her was for a photo shoot for a magazine of Hotel Grande Bretagne Magazine (Winter 2022-2023), in her old studio. We spent some time together and took some nice photos. The "hardest" ones were her portraits, because she has a shyness about showing her face; she prefers to show her works.

The next time was at an awesome industrial space she found for us to photograph some of her new creations.

Her works are unique and no two are alike. An awesome feature of them that I love is that there is almost no right and wrong side to any of them. Melina has created her own style and this has been appreciated by her many clients around the world. Her ceramics have been exhibited from Athens to Bucharest and from the (2* Michelin) Delta restaurant at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center to the British Museum in London.

My commitment to excel in technical skill is as strong as my desire to instill the narrative and beauty of the treasures of my heritage in my work.
