One of the best trips I've taken in recent years was to Arcadia.
I was again with my beloved Olga Harami. Olga is fearless, irrepressible and the perfect traveling companion for photo expeditions. I've rafted with her, walked in a forest where a bear had appeared a few days before, bumped my head on ancient stones and been at her side as driver or co-driver on endless miles of countless winding roads all over Greece.

A few years ago, we visited dear friends who live in beautiful Ghent with their cat Copper and the most beautiful little boy in the world.
Hopefully I will take photographs of this little baby and show it to you in a few years time.

As you all know, I am not really fond of weddings.
Having said that, once upon a time, more than a decade ago, I accepted Katerina’s invitation to her brother’s wedding with my camera. Katerina is a very nice young woman and I was more than happy to visit Nafplio and meet these beautiful families.

Built on a peninsula between the homonymous lagoon and that of Kleisova, at the mouth of the Evinos and Acheloos rivers, Missolonghi is a rather indifferent modern small city.

It was September 2022 when my wife and I landed in Marseille for the first time and in a strange turn of events, less than 45 days later, I came to live in this city for almost 2 months.
I had never been to France before (I had only landed once in Paris catching α plane to Cuba). More about that in another post, where I'll describe the whole... French experience.

Today, I just wanted to present a gigantic, detailed panorama of the city of Marseille.
I have a love-hate relationship with this city and will explain it in more detail in next week’s post, but until then you are welcome to zoom in and wander around.

When you live in Athens, one of the (many) advantages is that you can be on an island in no time.
This is exactly the case with Aegina. A beautiful island, just an hour away from the port of Piraeus.

The eerie ruins of the Abbey of San Galgano are one of Tuscany's most famous monasteries of all time and are located 45 km south of Siena, Italy.

One of the baptisms I have photographed was that of sweet Danae, with her amazing grimaces.
It was held in a beautiful church and all the people were exceptional and lovely, except for one.

Some time ago, I found myself in a magical island called Chios, for an assignment.
There will be definitely a post for the island in the near future, but right now I would like to show you this image from the premises of a small paradise called Perleas Estate. I cannot recommend this place enough; if you ever visit Chios, I would advise you to stay there.

A few years ago, I found myself in a fabulous place that I had wanted to go to for a long time.
This place is the unique Monemvasia.
