Mr. Alexandros Kanapitsas has a passion and this is music; sometimes he is djing in some of hottest bars in Athens.

I consider myself really lucky to have met him in one of them. Apart from that, he is a bright young scientist and his background in the field is quite impressive; some of his achievements (and a bit of...Chinese to me):

-Degree in Food Technology.

-MSc in Food Chemistry.

-PhD candidate of Chemistry at Laboratory of Food Chemistry, School of Chemistry, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (Study of the factors that inhibit the production of mycotoxins by fungi growing on agricultural products).

-Participation in the research program "Archimedes III"(Potentially harmful food ingredients. Effect of electromagnetic radiation in order to produce safe products).

-Published: Kanapitsas A., Batrinou A., Aravantinos A., Markaki P., 2015. Effect of γ-radiation on the production of Aflatoxin B1 by Aspergillus parasitic in raisins (Vitis vinifera L.), Radiation Physics and Chemistry: 106,327-332.

I am honoured to be one of his friends.
