REVIEWS

Nice job. Clear, easy to understand, direct and honest. If anyone is wondering if photography is worth pursuing, reading this book will provide the answer. I look forward to the next one.
— OLGA CHARAMI
A well-written book on photography, by a very skilled photographer, is a recipe for success.
I had a very good camera for years, but I didn’t really know how to use it. This guide, starting with composition and some “rules” for a successful photograph, finally made me capture in one photograph the decision of my eye.
Understandable, easy, well laid out, it takes us into the world of photography through light, forms and balance.
— RANIO SARRI
I really enjoyed the texts that accompany the photographic sections that develop through the 50 pages of the book. Texts that, without being tedious, have a density of photographic content sufficient to help a beginner photographer in his first steps.
— STAVROS KONTOGEORGAKIS
This guide was extremely useful and essential.
I found all the information I would need as an amateur and more.
The structure is very correct and step by step it takes you through everything you need to know.
The length is also right and does not exhaust the reader. It is something that is very enjoyable to read and you get the basic knowledge on photography!
— STEFANIA THANOU
Well-designed, well-written, with simple and understandable texts.
With everything a beginner needs to start his journey in the world of photography, having a global view on both the technical part and the feeling!
A useful and enlightening guide for the first steps in photography.
It is excellent.
— HERA STAMATOPOULOU
I really enjoyed reading it.
It is well written and understandable. The layout is enticing and has useful illustrations. As it is almost a step-by-step guide, yet does not patronize the reader, it is an excellent reference for learning for people who have little (or no) technical knowledge.
I wish I had access to something like this when I first started out.
— CARINA FRIE
From the beginning to the end there is a steady and smooth flow.
Starting from general or artistic concepts which are analysed as necessary and indicate where the extra digging should be done, it leads to more specific and technical concepts which are again analysed as necessary.
From what might be the first lens to buy, to what you need to set up on your camera for the first click, everything is explained within this guide.
Even at the end of the book, the part where the emphasis is placed on the practice that everyone needs to do to get results, is very important and so encouraging for someone just starting out.
It should be included as a manual in every kit in the world for every photography novice.
