Lockdown creativity

There have been already 50 days, more or less, that we are all isolated inside our houses. Covid-19 is still here and has put the world in whole new perspectives.

Collective Martini glass from Bombay Saphire, fire and a lemon twist. Beauty.

Photographers around the globe are struggling locked inside for so long. I guess especially the ones that got used to travel a lot are having a much more difficult time than, say, product and still life photographers. Times are strange and we all have to adapt to some level.

Fairy from my kitchen.

I am one of the lucky husbands that gets through this with his beloved wife and I feel grateful for that. The thing is that my creative self has been the most complaining one, so I had to please him somehow.

Soap bubbles was something I wanted to play with for some time now. My time was well spent. This is one of my favorites.

This soap bubble was actually maybe the 3rd I photographed.

So, I turned various rooms of the house to shooting locations and experimented with different kinds of photographs.

A walnut posing like a lady.

An almond standing still.

Creativity cannot be stay silent for too long.

These planets are actually drops of oil upon water.

Matches by three…

…and all burned; but one.

Pasta no. 2.

Everyone knows I adore chess.

Coca Cola bottle games.

Even more experiments. Clockwise from top left to the center: post-it, paper clip floating, torch light pattern from the ceiling, old pocket watch, screwdriver, pencil,, matches, 1:72 figures.

If you have been experimenting in your place, during quarantine, I would love to see your images in the comments section below or in my email.

We will get out stronger from this.
